The reason why the oil pump of the hydraulic shears cannot be started:

1 The start, stop or emergency stop button of the hydraulic shears oil pump is damaged;

2 Overload protection thermal relay is damaged;

3 The AC contactor coil of the hydraulic shearing machine is open or damaged;

The 4 three-wire AC loop wire ends are loose or damaged;

5 The oil pump motor of the hydraulic shears is damaged or the wiring head is loose and falling off.

6 When the manual button or foot switch is released, the hydraulic oil in the laid-off body is returned to the oil pool through the piston of the nitrogen accumulator and the piston of the main cylinder is moved up through the oil circuit to make the tool holder rise. The hydraulic oil returns to the oil sump through the main circuit.

7 When it is found that the tool post is difficult to lift, the accumulator should be supplemented with nitrogen.

8 When the tool post is lifted very slowly, the O-ring in the accumulator should be replaced accordingly and nitrogen should be sufficient.

9 The piston in the accumulator needs to be replaced when nitrogen is frequently charged.

1. Carefully check the main circuit and control circuit of the soft starter of the hydraulic shears to see if there is any wiring error.

2. Set the switch S1 on the front panel of the shears soft starter to select the motor connection mode to the “external” position of the motor.

3. According to the ABB soft starter product manual, the standard parameters in the basic settings of different applications, set the start ramp time knob on the front panel of the soft starter to 10 seconds, and the start current limit knob to 3 times.

4. After the main circuit of the hydraulic shears is powered on, the control system gives a soft start signal, and the main motor of the shears starts. In order to obtain the best start-up parameters, the test can be repeated.

5. The start ramp time of the soft starter is set to 6 seconds, and the start current limit is set to 2.8 times.
