What is a bending production cycle in a sheet metal production line?

Description of bending cycle

1. Loading

2. The entire sheet to be processed is placed manually or automatically (by moving trolley or gripper man, etc.) on the feeding table (stand or raw material buffer). The feeding table is equipped with a plate detection device to prevent robot gripping errors.

3. Gripping

4. The robot moves to the position of the loading table and detects the height of the plate by the ultrasonic sensor mounted on the fixture. Based on the detection data it automatically runs to the appropriate position to pick up the plate. After the plate has been gripped, the thickness of the plate is measured by the thickness measuring device.

5. Alignment

6. The robot runs to the positioning table position and places the plate on the table for precise positioning. After positioning, the sheet is again grasped and prepared for bending.

Laser cutting loading and unloading system features

(1) Realize automatic and scheduled processing from production scheduling and layout programming to raw material storage, raw material loading, cutting, and transfer of workpieces and scrap after cutting.

(2) Realize automatic loading and unloading transfer from plate thickness 110mm. Realize that the processed plates can be stored centrally.

(5) Ensure the start-up ratio of laser cutting machine is more than 85%; the cutting time of 1 day is more than 20h.

(6) Equipped with safety fence and various safety interlock switches to ensure the safe use of the machine. When one laser cutting machine in the whole system fails, the automatic loading and unloading system can target one laser cutting machine without failure for loading and unloading operation, and ensure the safety of maintenance personnel in the manual work area.

(7) After the system is started, the laser cutting machine can realize a series of cyclic actions such as table exchange, edge seeking and cutting to realize automatic operation of the machine. The operation mode can be selected from automatic mode, where the cutting cycle is carried out automatically, or from manual mode, where only one cutting cycle is completed.
