Punching Machine Safe Production

Because the punch has the characteristics of fast speed and high pressure, certain safety regulations must be followed when the punch is used for punching and forming.

1. The transmission parts exposed to the outside of the press must be equipped with a protective cover. It is forbidden to drive or test the vehicle with the protective cover removed.
2. Before driving, check whether the main fastening screws are loose, whether the mold is cracked, whether the control mechanism, automatic stopping device, clutch, and brake are normal, and whether the lubrication system is blocked or lacks oil. If necessary, you can drive an empty car to do a test.
3. When installing the mold, the slider must be opened to the bottom dead center, the closing height must be correct, and the eccentric load must be avoided as much as possible; the mold must be fastened firmly and checked by pressure test.
4. Attention must be concentrated during work, and it is strictly forbidden to extend hands and tools into the danger zone. Small pieces must be operated with special tools (tweezers or feeding mechanism). When the mold is stuck on the blank, only tools are allowed to release it.
5. It is found that the press is running abnormally or there is abnormal sound, (such as battering sound, popping sound), stop feeding immediately, and check the cause. If the rotating parts are loose, the control device fails, and the mold is loose or defective, stop and repair it.
6. Every time a workpiece is punched, hands or feet must leave the button or pedal to prevent misoperation.
7. When there are more than two people operating, you should order someone to drive, and pay attention to coordination and cooperation. Before leaving get off work, the mold should be dropped, the power supply should be disconnected, and the necessary cleaning should be carried out.

Punching Machine Precautions

Before work

⑴Check the lubrication of each part, and make each lubrication point get sufficient lubrication
⑵Check whether the mold installation is correct and reliable;
⑶Check whether the compressed air pressure is within the specified range
⑷Check whether the switch buttons are sensitive and reliable, and the motor can be turned on only after the flywheel and clutch are disconnected;
⑸ Let the press perform several idle strokes, and check the working conditions of the brake, clutch and operating parts
⑹Check whether the main motor has abnormal heating, abnormal vibration, abnormal sound, etc.
⑺ Use a manual oil pump to add lithium-based ester oil to the slider
⑻Check and adjust the feeder roller gap to the process requirements
⑼Check and keep the oil volume of the lubricator up to the specified requirements
⑽ When the motor is started, check whether the rotation direction of the flywheel is the same as the rotation mark.

At work

⑴ The manual lubricating oil pump should be used to pump lubricating oil to the lubrication point regularly
⑵When the performance of the press is not familiar, it is not allowed to adjust the press without authorization
⑶ It is absolutely forbidden to punch two layers of sheets at the same time
⑷Stop work immediately if it is found to be abnormal, and check in time.

After work

⑴ Disconnect the flywheel and clutch, cut off the power supply, and release the remaining air
⑵Wipe the press clean and apply anti-rust oil on the work surface
⑶ Make a record after each operation or maintenance.
